Suzuki GN125 1982-2001 Rear Sprocket Bolt, Nut & Lock Plate Kit

Replacement rear sprocket mounting hardware kit for the Suzuki application listed below. This set replaces the bolts, nuts and locking plates used to secure the rear driven sprocket to the sprocket carrier / rear hub assembly.

Kit Includes

  • 4 x rear sprocket mounting bolts
  • 4 x matching sprocket nuts
  • 2 x curved rear sprocket locking / tab plates

The product photographs show zinc-plated steel hardware with four shouldered/flange-head sprocket bolts, four hex nuts and two formed locking plates. Rear sprocket is not included.

Fitment

Suzuki GN125 / GN125E – selected 1982-2001 rear-wheel assemblies using the 4-bolt sprocket carrier and 09119-08043 / 09169-08012 hardware family.

Fitment note: Suzuki catalogues show the same bolt and locking-plate references across multiple GN125 years, while the nut reference varies on some market versions.

Suzuki OE / Manufacturer Cross-References

The supplied kit is an unbranded aftermarket replacement. The following genuine Suzuki numbers are provided for identification and compatibility checking:

  • 09119-08043 / 09119-08043-000 – Suzuki rear sprocket mounting bolt, approximately 8 x 33mm
  • 09169-08012 / 09169-08012-000 – Suzuki rear sprocket lock washer / locking plate
  • 08310-00083 / 08310-0008A / 08310-12088 (market/year dependent) – Suzuki rear sprocket nut reference(s), depending on model/year
  • SCL-2012031153 – Chinese aftermarket supplier cross-reference for a GN125 / GS125 / EN125 sprocket bolt-locking kit

The Suzuki numbers above are OE cross-references, not the manufacturer MPN of the unbranded Moto Mania kit. Google Shopping MPN is therefore left blank.

When to Replace the Hardware

  • Rounded, stretched, damaged or corroded sprocket bolts
  • Damaged threads or nuts that no longer tighten correctly
  • Locking plates that have cracked, distorted or been repeatedly bent
  • Rear sprocket or sprocket-carrier replacement
  • Rear-wheel restoration or rebuild work

Important Fitting Checks

  • Compare the bolt head, shoulder, thread diameter and length with the original hardware.
  • Confirm the rear sprocket carrier uses four mounting bolts and two curved locking plates.
  • Check the nut style used on your exact model/year, as Suzuki superseded some nut references.
  • Fit the locking plates correctly and secure/bend the tabs in the same manner as the original assembly.
  • Use the motorcycle manufacturer's tightening procedure and torque specification.

Do not substitute ordinary general-purpose bolts for sprocket mounting hardware. The rear sprocket is a drivetrain component and must be securely fastened before the motorcycle is used.
