New replacement electric starter motor for selected Piaggio and Vespa scooters using the 4-stroke Leader engine. This unit is designed as a replacement for the common Piaggio starter-motor family 82611R / 82611R5 and should be matched against the original starter before ordering.

A starter that turns slowly or fails to operate can also be caused by a weak battery, poor earth connection, damaged wiring, starter relay problems or internal engine/starter-drive faults. Check the starting circuit before replacing the motor.
