Critical Fitment Difference
Do not confuse this 18/27-tooth 55140026100 Bendix with the later 16/28-tooth starter drive. Factory catalogues show 2015 KTM 250/300 XC, XC-W and equivalent Husqvarna TE250/TE300 changing to 55140026300, followed by 55140026400 for 2016 and later related applications. Those later bikes also use crown wheel 55140022300. Count the teeth and check the original part number before ordering.
Important Fitment Information
Check the original Bendix before ordering. KTM 250/300 two-stroke starter drives changed for 2015, but the 200 EXC / XC-W continued with this earlier Bendix through 2016. The safest confirmation is the 55140026100 / 55140026000 reference together with the 18/27 tooth arrangement and matching 55140022100 crown wheel.
