Function
The mesh thimble catches larger contaminants in the engine oil. The spring holds the screen against its seat and the threaded cap closes the housing, allowing the strainer to be removed and cleaned during servicing.
Compatibility
This component family is used across a very large number of Chinese and GY6-derived scooters. Match the cap thread and diameter, spring size and mesh-screen shape to the existing assembly before ordering. Do not use this kit for 2-stroke engines.
