Installation Notes
Top-end engine work should be carried out using the correct workshop procedure. Check piston-ring orientation and end gaps, lubricate the piston and bore during assembly, fit both pin clips securely, set cam timing correctly and tighten the cylinder-head fasteners to the Honda workshop specification. Replace contaminated engine oil and inspect the cooling and lubrication systems if the original top end failed from overheating or oil starvation.
