Important Fitment Notes
- This is not advertised as a direct replacement for the factory neutral switch fitted to genuine Honda CG125 motorcycles.
- Honda CG125 factory parts catalogues use a neutral-only switch rather than a full five-gear position sensor.
- Chinese engines described as 'CG125' can use several different switch bodies and connectors, so visual comparison is essential.
Before Ordering
Compare the sensor housing, mounting-hole position, contact face, wire count, cable length, wire colours and connector shape with the part currently fitted. Do not order solely from engine capacity or model name.
Comparable CG-type aftermarket sensors are commonly sold with an approximately 50 cm wiring lead and a compact sensor head around 31 x 22 mm, but production versions vary. Use the photographs and your original component as the final reference.
Installation
Disconnect the battery before electrical work. Inspect the switch contact pin/spring, seal or O-ring and wiring route during installation. Make sure the harness is secured away from the drive chain and front sprocket. Test neutral and every indicated gear before road use.
