Important Exclusions & Fitment Notes
- Fitment is for MC 50 models using the PHBG 19 BS-style carburettor layout.
- Jetting must be checked and may need changing to suit model year, altitude, fuel and engine specification.
Do not order solely from the motorcycle's engine capacity or the words “KTM 50”. KTM used several different carburettor sizes on Junior, Mini, Adventure and Senior models.
Before Ordering
- Compare the carburettor body and 19 mm bore with the original
- Check engine-side and air-filter-side connection diameters
- Compare throttle-cable entry and top-cap arrangement
- Compare choke / starting mechanism
- Check fuel, vent and overflow hose positions
- Confirm there is sufficient frame and airbox clearance
Jetting Warning
Jetting must be checked before use. Genuine PHBG 19 BS applications use different main jets, pilot jets, needles and slide settings depending on model and year. An aftermarket carburettor should not be assumed to arrive with the correct jetting for every compatible motorcycle.
Installation
After fitting, check throttle return, fuel leaks, float-bowl sealing, air-filter connection and idle response. Tune the carburettor to the motorcycle's specification before riding. Professional installation and tuning are recommended.
