Product Description
The two front caps finish the open side ends of the pressed-steel front fork assembly. The two rear caps close the open ends of the swingarm / crossmember. Replacing missing, cracked, faded or discoloured caps restores the finished appearance of the motorcycle and helps keep dirt and debris out of the open frame sections.
Colour Note
Honda used several white and ivory colour suffixes over the years, including NH24 Ceramic White and Y3L Ivory White. Original plastics can also yellow with age, so the exact shade of a new reproduction may differ slightly from aged factory parts.
Important Fitment Check
- Compare the front cap shape with Honda family 51341-001-000.
- Compare the rear cap shape with the appropriate 52161 family for your motorcycle.
- Honda changed rear cap references across model years, so use the original cap, parts fiche and opening size as the final check.
- Check the locating lip and push-in section against the product photographs before ordering.
- These are trim / blanking caps and are not load-bearing suspension components.
Installation
Clean the fork and swingarm openings and remove dirt or fragments of the old plastic caps. Press each replacement cap evenly into place by hand. Avoid striking the caps or forcing them into damaged or distorted openings.
