Why the angled valve matters
Small 10-inch wheels can leave limited access around the rim. A bent Schrader stem can make pressure checks and inflation easier than a straight stem where the original wheel is designed for an angled valve.
Important size information
3.00-10 refers to a tyre/tube size for a 10-inch rim. It is not the same size as 3.00-4, 10x3.00-4 or other small-wheel markings that may also contain the number 10. Match the tyre sidewall marking and valve position before ordering.
Some aftermarket 10-inch tubes are marketed across several nearby tyre sizes, but this listing only claims 3.00-10 as the confirmed tube size unless a model-specific application below is stated.
Before fitting
- Check the tyre sidewall reads 3.00-10 or the model-specific equivalent stated in this listing.
- Confirm the wheel is intended to use an inner tube. Do not add a tube to a tubeless setup unless the wheel/tyre manufacturer permits it.
- Compare the valve angle and valve exit position with the old tube/rim.
- Inspect the tyre and rim for sharp objects, corrosion, damaged rim tape or other causes of the previous puncture.
- Inflate the new tube slightly before installation so it sits without twists or folds, and avoid pinching it with tyre levers.
- Inflate to the pressure specified by the vehicle/tyre manufacturer; the tube itself does not set the correct operating pressure.
